Copenhagen, Denmark business trip from 22/09/2008 - 29/09/2008 (Part 2)

On the first evening we reached Copenhagen 23rd October 2008, Winston invited us for a dinner. He brought us to this restaurant..Brede Spisehus..

Notice that there was a baby stroller outside the restaurant..
If there was no baby in it, it is no surprise.
What surprised me was..there was a real baby inside.
Winston told us that is Danish's culture of rapping up the baby and let him/her in the stroller outside..regardless of cold or hot weather. The parents just went into the restaurant and dined.
Gosh!! The weather tat evening was very cold.
I couldn't believe the parents had actually done that.

The first day working at TIA office, I looked out at the window, saw a deer in the sky.
I was thinking, this must be a Santa Claus's reindeer put up for X'mas celebration.
Who knows..

When I walked pass a car show room next to TIA office, I saw this car brand..Aagesen Bileras. I realized the so called Santa Claus's reindeer is actually a logo for this car brand..:P

Flowers flowers flowers..Can we get some nice and fresh flowers arnd town? Nt likely?
We do have florist here selling nice flowers..bt nt very fresh I think..due to our M'sia weather.
I found these flowers at a shop on one morning while I was waiting at Holte station for another bus to get to TIA office.
Very fresh and attractive..

We have chrysanthemum tea at M'sia.
I found sth similar to it at Copenhagen, TIA office.
When I drank it, it tastes thicker than local chrysanthemum tea.
So, we called it "Guai Lou Kuk Fa Cha"..in Cantonis.

The bottle on the most right is "Guai Lou Kuk Fa Cha".
The bottle in the middle is apple juice.
The bottle on the left is so called..Ribena..as Siew drank it and commented it tastes like Ribena.

Copenhagen is using the 'Zoner" concept for bus ride.
Convenient stores do sell "Clip Card (bus ticket)" of 2 to 7 zoners..as what I observed.
From station A to C, if you need to change bus at station B, meaning it is 2 zoners. So, when you get on a bus at station A, you clip one time.
The time u get on the bus will be printed on the "Clip Card".
You drop at station B waiting for another bus.
When the bus reaches, you hop up and show the bus driver your clip card to indicate that you had already clipped at your 1st station.
Siew bought "Clip Card" of 2 zoners on the day we reached Copenhagen, 23rd October 2008.

This is the front part of Birkerod hotel.
Taken at the bus station opposite it while Siew and I were waiting for our bus.

Breakfast is served at Birkerod hotel.
Coffee, tea, milk, juices (apple & orange), cakes, fruits, cereal, danish pastry, wholemeal bread, ham, bacon, salami, cheese..YUM YUM!!
Oh ya, they serve this: goose liver...Danish's fav..which they spread it on the pastry or bread.
Who dares to try? I tried a small bit of it, couldn't take it.
The taste is extremely raw, becoz it is served raw..taste like raw chicken liver.

This is my daily breakfast at Copenhagen: a cup of coffe, apple juice, wholemeal bread/danish pastry, cheese, ham, smoke bacon and salami.

This is a smaller room which the boss of Bikerod hotel gave us on our second nite.
It is near to the receptionist and restaurant.

These photos below show the room which Siew and I stayed for the first nite at Bikerod hotel.
We requested for a room near to receptionist, but the boss said it was fully book for the nite.
So, he let us stayed at a room with kitchen, living hall, dining tbl and tv.
It is an apartment, to be exact.

House delay..Wedding Ceremony delay as well.. :( :(( X-(

Our house
Darling and I found out that our house, located at Seri Kembangan, delayed completion.
Initially all of us purchasers were told by Bukit Ikhlas developer that by end of 2008, we can get our keys.
We wait patiently.
However, latest update from the developer was nx yr June, we can only get our house keys.

Our wedding
End of March 2008, Darling and I went back to my hometown, Kuching, to select a good date for our wedding ceremony.
Initial date was set on 27th December 2008, which is the same date as my friends, Rita and Blaise's wedding ceremony.
But due to some issues from my parents in law, Darling and I decided to postpone it till after our house ready, we move in, then only we hold our wedding ceremony.
We tot that we both can settle down in our new house by March 2009.

But seems like....our house delay, our wedding ceremony will be delayed as well.
This is y I am very pissed off. :( :(( X-(

Business Opportunity.. Rejections.. Learn.. Experience.. Grow.. Lifestyle..

What kind of lifestyle do you all have in mind?
What kind of life you want to live for the rest of your life?

Life with scheduled routines.

7am Wake up..perhaps earlier..
7:15am Brush teeth.
7:20am Take bath.
7:45 am Change clothes.
8am Leave house to office.
8:30am Reach office. Take breakfast. Start work.
12:30pm Lunch.
13:30pm Continue work.
17:30pm Go home..stuck in the traffic jam for hrs.
19:00pm Reach home..rest a while. For those with kids, play with the kids. For ladies, prepare dinner. For those who are lucky enough, dinner is already served.
19:30pm Take bath. For ladies, probably still continue preparing dinner.
20pm Take dinner.
20:30pm Watch tv or educate the kids or continue work from home..who knows..
22:00pm Sleeping time.

This is a day routine and continue from Mon to Fri.

During working hours, you will probably get all this shit:
  • Scolded by boss or managers for nth/small mistake.
  • Back stab/betray by colleagues,
  • Tons of workloads, all urgent..
During weekends, probably get some rest and go shopping and eat outside with family.
When shopping, also "save save" spend.
Some even not willing to spend for food costs rm10..I know this..hehe..

Or you want this:

Mon, Tues, Wed,..., Sun
Wake up at 10 or 11 plus. Brush teeth. Take bath. Put on clothes..mmm..what should I wear to accesorize my attire with....For ladies, Prada or Gucci handbag..For guys, Timbaland or Nike shoes?..
Breaklunch with wife and friends..San Francisco Steak House or TGI Fridays?
Afternoon..Shopping at KLCC..bought a new pair of Tag Heuer watch for yourself and wife.
Tea time at Shangri La hotel..
Dinner with family at Hilton Hotel..wife hinted long time no relaxation. You direct suggested "ok, tmr we go to Maldives island.."
Then that nite straight book air ticket..first class somemore...
The next day, off you go..enjoy your honeymoon/holiday whateva you want to name it.. for a wk or 2 or even mths..

Well, everyone wants relaxing days ahead.

Unless those who just want to live a normal and average life.

How many ppl willing to work hard for the 2nd option lifestyle?
Even if they are willing to work hard for it, are their ways moving towards their goals correct?
Some ppl may say "I just want to be average. Live average life. Do average work. Earn average living.".
There's nothing wrong being average.
But, if a person is always doing stuff in average range, how can he/she know that he/she can do better than average?
Has anybody try doing sth out of average?

Everyone in this world is equal in GOD's eyes.
When you look at ppl who are very successful, who live the 2nd option lifestyle I mentioned above, you will often say "He is more intelligent than I do, tats y he can do it!"
You're wrong.

How do you know you can't?
How do you know you don't have the ability and strength to do it?
Have you ever tried?
How many times you try to move fwd?
Failed? Got rejected?
How do you see the rejection you face?
How fast, after you got rejected or failed, stand up and move fwd again?
Have you even try to stand up and move fwd?

Before I read a book..Reject Me I Love It! by John Fuhrman..
Everytime I failed an interview, I will moan a lot to myself and my hubby.
I even cried and think that I am not good enough.
Very very upset.
My hubby got so frustrated sometimes, but he still persuade me to not give up by giving me all sorts of encouragement.

After I read few chapters of Reject Me I Love It! by John Fuhrman..
My thinking changed.
I begin to understand that rejections are good and beneficial to me.
With rejections, I can stand up again after failed interviews..corrected myself..the way I should answer qs, the way I behave in front of interviewer..
I learnt.
I experienced.
I grow.
Now I will be joining Ogilvy

Before I read a book..Reject Me I Love It! by John Fuhrman..
I always think that I'm not good in sales.
I dont have the skills to sales.
I know I can't take it if I got rejected in promoting products, this is similar to the case which I got rejected from interviewer.
I didnt even try, I have already given myself -ve thoughts and discouragement.
Thats y I am always in the option 1 lifestyle, even till now.

After I read few chapters of Reject Me I Love It! by John Fuhrman..
I understand that rejections are beneficial as rejections let you learn, experience and grow.
I understand that I shouldn't have give -ve thoughts for myself b4 I start to do sth.
I understand that self-rejection (there's a list of self-rejections if u read by Reject Me I Love It!John Fuhrman) kills..
I understand that we have to live our life full of possibilities and +ve thoughts.
I understand that we must have a dream, a goal in our life which is able to make us move towards it.

My Darling and I now working on our AMWAY biz.
We just started.
It may take a long while b4 we can reach higher levels.
But with our goals of settling house loan within 8 yrs and giving ourselves and our children a good lives ahead, we are willing to go through rejections.

Ppl rejected me when I mentioned the word AMWAY.
If I havent come across John Fuhrman's book, I will quit easily.
Now, when I received rejections, I will go ahead with other potential users.

I will continue reading this book.
I will read this book again after finish.
If anyone of you come across this book, please get a copy and read.
My personal opinion is..John Fuhrman gives me the confidence and strength to move fwd.

**Ref: Reject Me I Love It! by John Fuhrman
--> Recommended book for ppl who are afraid of rejections but want to move fwd.

AMWAY - Slimming

Every ladies should have a vision of ideal weight and figure.
What's my ideal weight?
My ideal weight is 55 to 57kg.

B4 I came over to kl in March 2007, I was slim, carrying my ideal weight to everywhere I go.
However, after I came over to it.
Every part of myself looks round.
I can't wear nice clothes.

I tried many ways to slim down:
  1. Cut down my food,
  2. Brist walking,
  3. Went to slimming centre, did the treatment and bought detox worth more than rm200,
  4. Drink detox which made me go to toilet very often and made big biz,
  5. Bought slimming spray.
I just couldn't slim down.
It was a waste of money tho.

Last 3 wks when I was in Denmark, finally I can see results from my effort in slimming..this was what I did..
Breakfast was provided by hotel. I took bread/danish pastry with ham, bacon, salami and cheese.
Lunch was provided at the office. I took the delicious food prepared by the chef there.
Dinner..I have to settle it myself. I took AMWAY replacement meal, which is called POSITRIM, and Protein.

Guess what, in a wk time, my tummy flat oredi..I am so happy.
When I met up with my colleagues for lunch, Ed and Shah said I looked slim than b4.
With POSITRIM (RM94) + Protein (RM100), only about RM194, I am on my way to my ideal weight.
Just need another few more mths to shred off the excessive fats on my body, then I can once again carry my ideal weight around town..hehe..
