The Frog

Hi there,

Mr Frog 1:
If you put a frog into a pot filled with hot water, it will feel the heat straight away and leap out of the water very fast.

The moral of this story is - If we realize that working is not the only way to earn a living for the rest of our lives, we will leap out of the situation and find alternatives. If you do not want to work hard for money, then you have to find alternatives for money to work hard for you.

Mr Frog 2:
If you put a frog into a pot filled with cold water, it will stay in the pot, enjoying the cool temperature. Soon, a small fire was lit and the water gets heat up slowly. The frog feels the temperature of the water warming up, but it is too comfort for it to leap. After all, a little bit of warm is just nice.
Eventually, the water begins to boil, the frog is not able to leap out of the pot as its legs had been cooked.

The moral of this story is - Like Mr Frog 2, most of the time, a lot of us are too comfort with our working life. Mr Frog 2 feels very comfort with the temperature of the water that is warming up. Same goes to the 95% of people around the world who are trapped in the rat race environment. A little compliments or promotion or increments (the small fire which was lit up) gets us feeling happy, comfort and satisfy with our work and lives.

Somehow, it is just a trap (I would say), which keeps us busy everyday, working for money. You are now working so hard for money. Why can't money work for you? Do something with it!!

Is your drinking water safe to drink?

My Darling and I found an article about our drinking water.
Written by Mr Michael R. Long.

He mentioned that our rivers contain Pharmaceutical, which is drugs from drugstores or medication from patients. Expired drugs from drugstores can be thrown to anywhere like drains, rivers etc. When patients with medication flush toilets, where did the water goes??

According to Mr Michael R. Long, these Pharmaceutical component is able to feminize male fish. As for human, it can lead to cancer. We, human, are born with cancer cells in our body. With healthy diet and clean water, our cancer cells do not have the chance to spread. However, if we have an imbalanced and unhealthy diet, and imagining we and our kids drinking water which contains other people's heart disease medication (YUCKssss!!), will our cancer cells spread? That's why the rates of people dying of cancer keeps increasing..

Think about it..for those of you, who have children or going to have soon, imagining your children or your wife drinking water which contains other people's heart disease or diabetes medication..do you want to see them suffer from sickness when they grow up? Unless you're cold-blooded, sure you won't want to see such cases happens.

For those, who are using bottled water (like the one used in most offices), please beware!! Bottled water contains plastic chemicals.

Please value your health by taking and drinking clean and healthy diet and water!!

Boiling Unfiltered Water..

Dear All,

Boiling unfiltered water is NO LONGER SAFE for drinking!!

This is our concern to all our relatives and friends, as well as the public.

Please be aware that boiled unfilter water is no longer healthy for drinking.

For those, who don't understand Mandarin, this is a video brief I summarized.

Part 1:

A broadcasted news from Taiwan about boiling water. There's a research done on a sample of human blood, that was taken out from human body within 2 min. Boiled water is then added to the sample of human blood. The result shows that our blood cells change colour and freeze in the end. In other words, there's certain substance in boiled water that damage our blood cells.

This research is proven by a doctor, who is based on toxic chemical. He commented that boiled water contains a substance called "ya siao suan yan (mandarin)", which after drinking for long period of time, caused harmful effect, such as cancer, to human body. He further emphasized that using boiling water, which contains such substance, to make milk for babies, the end result will be death.

Part 2:

In our modern world as of now, we achieved what we called advanced technology, that brings us convenience. But behind these, there are a lot of risks that we are taking. Pollutions on air and water, preservatives, chemicals, pesticides, additives and colouring..etc. These risks damage our friendly environment, our lives and health.

Medical research reported that:

1. Human is taking more than 80 types of preservatives, chemicals and everyday without them knowing.
2. Excessive pesticides and chemical sprayed on fruits and vegetables are causing pregnant women delivering unhealthy children.
3. Every year, there are 6500 teenagers detected with cancer and 2200 toddlers died of cancer.
4. Due to accumulation of toxic substances in our body, there are more than 2000 people detected with kidney problem.
5. 1700K people detected with diabetes while 95000 people with heart problem. People with health problem increase every year.

Not only this as proof..recently one of my friend's father found out that he got cancer. His doctor warned him not to drink boiled unfilter water. Even our local doctor already start giving warning to patients. What are you guys waiting for?

Man!! This is health. Our precious! Dont ever make fun of it! Once your health degraded, you can never gain it back anymore! Think about it..if your children, your love ones, have been drinking "polluted" water since young, how can you imagine their blood will be in the next 20 or 30 years?

Ok, you may say, in the olden days, our great grandparents, our grandparents, our parents or earlier generation of our roots have been drinking boiled water. And they are now still very healthy. You should know how clean the air and water in the olden days, right? You should know that there's no preservatives, chemicals added to vegetables, poultry and fruits in the olden days right? How advance is the technology previously as compare to now? THINK!!

Boiling filtered water is SAFE for drinking!!

There are a lot of water treatment system (WTS) in the market nowadays. The competition is so overwhelming that a lot of companies are putting up powerful advertisements, in which they claim that their WTS is able to do so and so. Price wise..yes..attractive and affordable for average income family and even high income family.

Judging by the price and advertisements, are you able to tell yourself that you bought a WTS that can provide you good quality water? Water that is healthy and safe to drink? No, you always can't tell.

A good quality WTS is always backed by years of research, documented testing results, and certification by well-known non profit organization. If a WTS company claims that their WTS can perform this and that, please..request for the documented test results, check the product through http://nsf.org/ or http://wqa.org/ .

A WTS's performance as well as the accuracy of its advertisements should always be tested and certified by an independent and disinterested 3rd party, such as NSF and WQA. If a WTS is certified by a reputable non-profit company, you can be assured that the WTS's advertisements are not misleading and the product will perform as specified.

Amway Leadership Function at Genting Highland 22/11/2008 - 23/11/2008

22nd and 23rd November 2008 were the days my hubby and I determined clearly how we want our future to be, our goals, our dreams, our everything.

Decision made yesterday..

Hard work starting now..

Accomplishments and success ahead.

Why these 2 days are so special for us?

Partly because our anniversary falls on 22nd..hehe..

The other reason is a bunch of us from Instinct Global Link went up to Genting Highland to attend an Amway Leadership seminar.
There were a lot of greatly successful people, went on stage to share with all of us juniors their hard work and successful story.

The feeling was overwhelming.
My hubby and I gained a lot of power, desire and inspiration from all of them.
We thank them a lot..

Copenhagen, Denmark business trip from 22/09/2008 - 29/09/2008 (Part 2)

On the first evening we reached Copenhagen 23rd October 2008, Winston invited us for a dinner. He brought us to this restaurant..Brede Spisehus..







Notice that there was a baby stroller outside the restaurant..
If there was no baby in it, it is no surprise.
What surprised me was..there was a real baby inside.
Winston told us that is Danish's culture of rapping up the baby and let him/her in the stroller outside..regardless of cold or hot weather. The parents just went into the restaurant and dined.
Gosh!! The weather tat evening was very cold.
I couldn't believe the parents had actually done that.


The first day working at TIA office, I looked out at the window, saw a deer in the sky.
I was thinking, this must be a Santa Claus's reindeer put up for X'mas celebration.
Who knows..




When I walked pass a car show room next to TIA office, I saw this car brand..Aagesen Bileras. I realized the so called Santa Claus's reindeer is actually a logo for this car brand..:P






Flowers flowers flowers..Can we get some nice and fresh flowers arnd town? Nt likely?
We do have florist here selling nice flowers..bt nt very fresh I think..due to our M'sia weather.
I found these flowers at a shop on one morning while I was waiting at Holte station for another bus to get to TIA office.
Very fresh and attractive..




We have chrysanthemum tea at M'sia.
I found sth similar to it at Copenhagen, TIA office.
When I drank it, it tastes thicker than local chrysanthemum tea.
So, we called it "Guai Lou Kuk Fa Cha"..in Cantonis.

The bottle on the most right is "Guai Lou Kuk Fa Cha".
The bottle in the middle is apple juice.
The bottle on the left is so called..Ribena..as Siew drank it and commented it tastes like Ribena.



Copenhagen is using the 'Zoner" concept for bus ride.
Convenient stores do sell "Clip Card (bus ticket)" of 2 to 7 zoners..as what I observed.
From station A to C, if you need to change bus at station B, meaning it is 2 zoners. So, when you get on a bus at station A, you clip one time.
The time u get on the bus will be printed on the "Clip Card".
You drop at station B waiting for another bus.
When the bus reaches, you hop up and show the bus driver your clip card to indicate that you had already clipped at your 1st station.
Siew bought "Clip Card" of 2 zoners on the day we reached Copenhagen, 23rd October 2008.

Breakfast is served at Birkerod hotel.
Coffee, tea, milk, juices (apple & orange), cakes, fruits, cereal, danish pastry, wholemeal bread, ham, bacon, salami, cheese..YUM YUM!!
Oh ya, they serve this: goose liver...Danish's fav..which they spread it on the pastry or bread.
Who dares to try? I tried a small bit of it, couldn't take it.
The taste is extremely raw, becoz it is served raw..taste like raw chicken liver.

























This is my daily breakfast at Copenhagen: a cup of coffe, apple juice, wholemeal bread/danish pastry, cheese, ham, smoke bacon and salami.





This is a smaller room which the boss of Bikerod hotel gave us on our second nite.
It is near to the receptionist and restaurant.


























These photos below show the room which Siew and I stayed for the first nite at Bikerod hotel.
We requested for a room near to receptionist, but the boss said it was fully book for the nite.
So, he let us stayed at a room with kitchen, living hall, dining tbl and tv.
It is an apartment, to be exact.
